About Us Mary Ann Pereira finally has a place of her own! With over 25 years of experience in the field of education, she will continue to offer the high quality, engaging programs that many have come to know. For the last 12 years , Mary Ann have been a part of many successful programs in Burlington where she had the opportunity to create her own classes, build a vast library of teaching materials and most importantly form lasting bonds with such wonderful families in town. She makes learning fun through her creative approach to working with participants of all ages. Music, dancing, storytelling, drama and art are woven into the weekly themes and academic curriculum. Mary Ann currently leads all of her classes with the help of dedicated staff.
Echo Enrichment Center has a group of extraordinary teaching assistants. Vilma Giniotas joined us in winter 2009 as a substitute and returned after the new year in 2010 to assist me in the morning and mid day classes. She is nurturing, helpul and brings positive energy to our group. On any morning you'll find her among a group of children reading, dancing or leading them in their play. The children look forward to spending quality time with her.Vilma will return to assist the preschool classes this fall.
Vicki Alessi and Kyleigh Judge began as volunteers in previous programs( summer of 2007 and 2008 ) and were officially hired when we opened our doors in 2008. Michayle Hogan also began as a volunteer in 2008 and was officially hired last summer. Our programs and participants have gained so much from their presence. They bring maturity, dedication and great guidance for the families that we serve. They assist during afternoon classes, vacation programs, parent night out events, adult programs and birthday parties.
Echo enrichment center recognizes and respects the uniqueness of each participant. The center's primary mission is to provide programs that meet the social, emotional, physical, cognitive and creative needs of all who come here.Based on successful, meaningful activities over the past 25 years, our curriculum skillfully weaves artistic and practical disciplines into everyday learning. Our programs allow individuals to follow their curiosity, to think creatively, to gain independance and learn social skills. We celebrate diversity and strive to instill compassion and confidence in each child. We give each child support and encouragement to become his or her own unique self.
Exceptional curriculum, practices and staff are just a few of the reasons that the children look forward to coming to echo enrichment. Don't miss this chance to be a part of it.
