We are very family oriented and that has many benefits. We want to get to know our families and get to know their needs. That helps us to care for your children and provide the best programs possible. We also welcome siblings at Echo and enjoy seeing them relating to one another. Again, it’s all about how we can best care for your child.
For families with more than one child, One program means one drop-off and one pick-up for all of the children (no more taxi driver and that means more free time for parents).Within a family, the first-timers also have the support of a sibling. We have two separate classroom areas so that siblings have the option to spend time together or in the company of friends.
Summer Session Will Happen During The Following Weeks
July 8, July 15, July 22, July 22
August 5, August 12
Each week promises a new theme at Echo. All participants will engage in age appropriate activities that are in keeping with the themes. Pairing the weekly themes offers both groups the continuity of the same theme for
daily activities, field trips and celebrations. As we create our indoor space for the summer, we will also be creating outdoor spaces to include canopies, picnic tables and activity centers. We’ll be busy from the time your child arrives until it is time to go home. Chances are, your child will not want to go home and will be asking when he or she can go back!
All Summer Staff Begin As Volunteers In Our Program. It Gives Us A Chance To See If They Share Our Teaching Philosophy And The Commitment To Working With Children. Staff Are Experienced, With A CORI On File And Trained In CPR and first Aid.
We’ll be offering programs for preschool and school-age children in our fully air-conditioned space. No need to be worried that children will be outside all day in the sweltering sun! We do have scheduled walking trips and outside time each week but our home base is our enrichment center.
With many dedicated staff and volunteers, the children are in a well supervised setting with many hands to assist in the day to day activities. The volunteers are individuals that I have had as students or they have participated in programs that I have directed. The same holds true for the staff. We carefully select the individuals who work with your children. That is important to us!
