One Morning Per Week, During The School Year, Echo Provides Three Sessions (Fall, Winter and Spring) Of A Class Called Early Preschool. Children 2-3 Years Old Attend With A Caregiver. Children Arrive To Themed Activity Areas For Exploring At Their Own Pace. Caregivers Join In The Activities To Support The Child While They Are Becoming Familiar With The Environment, Routine , Activities And Teacher. The Goal Of The Class Is To Introduce The Child To The Preschool Setting. Over Time, The Child blossoms And Begins to Engage With Other Children And The Teacher. The Teacher Begins by Taking The Child's Lead In The Activities. Before You Know It, The Teacher Is Leading The Group And The Children Are Responding. It's A Wonderful Transition Class For The Children Who Join A Preschool Class When Ready. They Are Familiar With The Teacher, The Activities, The Classroom Environment and The Routines. When It's Time To Attend Echo Without A Caregiver, The Transition Goes Very Smoothly.
